Lučka Kajfež Bogataj is a Slovenian climatologist and one of the most prominent in her country. She has worked extensively on climate change, agriculture, and sustainability, and was among the authors of the IPCC reports (the UN climate panel), which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. Today, she is also very active in public debate on climate and environmental policy.
