Aimable Uwizeye: He is currently a Livestock Policy Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy. He has more than 15 years of experience in livestock development, animal health, and environmental performance assessment of the global livestock sector. At FAO, Aimable leads a programme aiming at Policy Analysis to support the integration of more livestock-related mitigation and adaptation in Nationally Determined Contributions. He also leads several projects to reduce enteric methane emissions from ruminants and assess greenhouse gas emissions from livestock systems in different countries.
