PhD Candidates are invited to prepare their contribution according to their year:

  • 1st year PhD Candidates: Mini-poster + PhD dissertation project for the Proceedings (max 2 pages).
    A PhD Dissertation Project (maximum 2 pages) and a Miniposter (A2 format: 420 x 594 mm2) in which first year PhD students will introduce a synthetic state of the art concerning the research topic that will be developed during the following two years, the research program, the key milestones already achieved and the results that are expected to be obtained.
    If drafted in accordance with the time scheduled and following the illustrative example below, this document will be published in the Proceedings of the Workshop.

  • 2nd year PhD Candidates: Poster + poster presentation for the Proceedings (max 2 pages).
    A Poster Communication (maximum 2 pages) and a Poster (A1 format: 594 x 841 mm2) in which second year PhD students will show the activities carried out according to the initial research project, the most important results already obtained, drawing attention to possible differences between achieved and expected results, then the confirmation or, eventually, the re-defining of the research project for the following year.

  • 3rd year PhD Candidates: Oral presentation +  manuscript for the Proceedings (max 5 pages).
    An oral communication (maximum 5 pages) in which third year PhD students will show the research project carried out, emphasizing innovations with respect to the state of the art, the most important obtained results and their congruences or differences from what already known in literature, conclusions and future perspectives.
    If drafted in accordance with the time scheduled and following the illustrative example below, this document will be published in the Proceedings of the Workshop.

  1. Proceedings:
    Format. .doc or .docx format. pdf format is not admitted.
    Filename. The name of the file must include Authors Name and Surname, # PhD Year, University (i.e. Mario_Rossi_I_year_unifi).
    Coordinator. Before submission, the Tutors or PhD Course Coordinators have to check the compliance of the papers of their students.
    Submission: The manuscripts should be sent to phdfood2022@unito.it
    Deadline.
    Submission is requested before 10th of June. Manuscripts sent after the deadline or not according to the guidelines will be rejected. Each PhD Candidate and the Coordinator will receive notification of the receipt of the manuscript by e-mail. In case of missing notification, please contact phdfood2022@unito.it.
    The accepted manuscripts will be published in the “26th Workshop on the Developments in the Italian PhD Research on Food Science Technology and Biotechnology” proceedings.
